We created this site because we were tired of hearing how great the Storm was going to be, how sorry we would be for loving our iPhones and how great the new Blackberry was going to be. There were tons of emails sent around with jokes about the iphone battery life (admittedly could be better) and how hard it was to type without a keyboard (not that hard). But things started to get ugly and we were forced to take our story public.
This site is a site dedicated to all of those people on the fence whether to spring for the new Blackberry. If you can’t tell from the name, we don’t think you should. We’ve all had Blackberrys for work and theyr’e great for what they are. We all think Verizon has a great network. But the truth of the matter is that the iPhone and all of the 3rd party applications make the iPhone a must-have.
To sum up, we think the Blackberry Storm is the new Zune. The limited edition brown one.

1Thanks for posting this site. I’ve been researching the new Blackberry Storm and wanted to find out if there were any bad reviews out there. The articles that your site links to all rave about the storm… your post doesn’t have anything concrete as to what the negatives are. If you have any true gripes I would love to hear them – although from reading your post, I’m pretty sure you went into it with a closed mind.

3RIM is a years late to the show, but they do have a good product. In time, the input mechanism will show it’s advantages once the software is updated.
I’ve had Palm Pilots when the first came out, and numerous Pocket PCs, they were great. However, I HATED touch screen smartphones to this day because they suck as as phones.
I tried an iPhone, but it really does suck as a phone. Great as a multimedia device, but crap as a Phone.
Wasn’t until I got my first Blackberry that I felt nirvana of phone and PDA.
The Storm is marginally better than the iPhone, but I think it has more potential. Obviously iPhone users are a little self conscious and rightly so.

4You guys are gayer than aids or a pack of flaming homo’s on a thursday night. Did you seriously take your time to create a website to show how much you hate an inanimate object? Get a life. The Iphone is cool, but some of us want/have Verizon so it’s our choice, get over it losers.

5Any guy that is happy about the storm is wack. Why don’t you go get a Treo, or carry a briefcase with a phone in it?

7The keyboard was the best thing about blackberry. This thing looks frustrating. And the clicking. Unnecessary.
The commercial kept me away.

8The Storm is in such high demand (especially where I live), that I was forced to wait for it (like everyone else who didn’t stand in a huge line for one day) until Dec. 15th. Initially I was a little perturbed by this delay, but waiting a week for the hottest phone in the region seemed fair.
Pause. I hear the sound of internet memes and trolling in the name of iPhone. This blasphemy will not be tolerated. After all, the Storm sucks so bad they paid money for a domain to proclaim the fact.
In all honesty, I went and did my homework on the Storm, and for me, I like it. I played with one at the store: and it’s not perfect. However, I feel like an anomaly because I didn’t put it down from there and go buy an iPhone. I still thought it was pretty cool and has enough features to keep me happy.
But this is where iPhoners are missing the picture; perhaps there are normal people like me who used the same old-school cheap Verizon phone for FOUR years and now want to upgrade. I don’t want to pay more to switch companies and despite the fact the iPhone is a better pocket PC, the Storm is cheaper and actually a better phone. This is why it doesn’t have WiFi. Actually, you don’t need wifi, because you can use it as a 3G Modem for your laptop.
I don’t think the choice is one of bias, more of relativity to a person’s situation. It’s been four years and I want to upgrade with a modern phone, so I get the Storm, and I’m not regretting my decision.
